Description

THE STATE OF STARTUP ACCELERATORS | AUGUST 13

About This Event

Building a startup from the ground is no easy task. While failure happens more than success in the world of startups, accelerators are a great way to help entrepreneurs increase their chances of being one of the lucky ones. Accelerators are cohort-based programs that can include office space, business and management consulting, feedback on the product, mentorship and access to investors to help startups jump start their business.

Some of the most well-known tech companies in the world like Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Reddit have all used accelerators to help get them off the ground. So how does it work? What goes on behind closed doors with these programs? Join General Assembly and our panel of experts to learn more about these programs. At this event we will cover:

  • What they look for in a startup
  • Common pitfalls when founders pitch their business
  • How the programs work and how to apply

We hope to have you there!
