Bridging and informing industry and government to drive smart policy that fosters and protects a thriving, innovative technology climate. The Tech Affairs Council is a bi-monthly meeting of CTA members coming together to discuss policy and regulatory issues impacting the Colorado tech community. Each meeting features an update on relevant issues and a presentation from stakeholders in the tech policy community.

In May we will be joined by Jennifer Grundy Young, CEO of the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA). TECNA represents over 60 IT and technology trade organizations that, in turn, represent more than 22,000 technology-related companies in North America. TECNA empowers regional technology organizations and serves as their collective voice in helping grow the North American technology economy. TECNA advocates for the tech industry at the federal level, seeking to promote policies that support investment in innovation. Jennifer Young will join us to share a little bit about TECNA's 2024 legislative priorities and progress that was made throughout the session.

Jennifer Grundy Young, CEO, TECNA

Jennifer Grundy Young serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA). TECNA represents more than 60 technology trade organizations from across the United States and Canada that collectively represent more than 22,000 technology-related businesses. 

Prior to joining TECNA, Jennifer served as the Director of Policy and Public Affairs for Life Sciences PA, a statewide association that advocates on behalf of Pennsylvania’s diverse life sciences-related industries.  She also served the members of the Pittsburgh Technology Council for nearly 12 years and worked directly with tech companies and other community leaders as a field representative for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
