SheTech Volunteer Registration

SheTech is a one-day event for 9th and 10th grade female students featuring hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) alongside professionals from a variety of backgrounds and industries. This event provides Colorado companies the opportunity to educate, develop and lead tomorrow’s female-identifying champions towards careers in an inclusive technology-based workforce.
We are anticipating hosting approximately 200 female-identifying students from school districts across Colorado at this year's event!
Volunteer Groups:
Set-Up [Time Commitment ~ 4 hours]: 1/23 @ 1-5pm
Assist in setting up for the event the day before on 1/23. Assignments include setting up registration, tables & chairs, print outs for the tech challenge, etc. Afternoon shift only.
Registration [Time Commitment ~ 4 hours]:1/24 @ 7-10am
Arrive early to help finish setting up registration. Assist in checking students, chaperones, sponsors, and teachers in the morning of.
Chaperone [Time Commitment ~ 5 hours]: 1/24 @ 8:30am-2pm
Get assigned to a group of students throughout the day. Tasks are to make sure they stay on track, move them along throughout the day, and help answer any of their questions.
Tech Challenge Mentor [Time Commitment ~ 2 hours]: 1/24 @ 12-2pm
Assist in putting on the tech challenge for the students. Give out instructions and check in with any questions they have.
Tear Down [Time Commitment ~ 2 hours]: 1/24 @ 2-4pm
Help out with cleaning up the event. Will need to be available near the end of the event and afterwards with packing up and bringing things back into the CTA office.
