This fall is going to be a different school year and something we have never experienced before as learners, parents, and professionals. However, moving to virtual is not easier or harder than the physical environment, it is just different and we can be successful. What's true is that families are taking on much more responsibility for their kids' learning than ever before. And in order for distance learning to be successful, parents and caregivers need support and a few tools to work through each day of virtual learning. We must remember that we are moving through this journey together. There are positives and negatives to learning and working virtually but we also have a great opportunity to find a silver lining and come together as a community to move education in a new and exciting direction.
