Interested in starting your own corporate women’s network? Looking for ways to strengthen your already existing group? Join us on March 27th for our Women in Tech Colorado (WIT-CO) Council meeting, where representatives of successful women's networks and other ERG’s will share how they built their groups, how they’ve encouraged participation and support from their leadership, challenges they've overcome and their plans for growing their groups in the coming years.

This will also be an excellent opportunity to learn more about CTA’s WIT-CO Council! This group meets to build relationships and share best practices for starting and supporting a women’s corporate network and engage in related women-in-tech-focused programs and initiatives. 


Speakers:

Erica Albert, Product Researcher, IBM Power Design Team

Erica Albert is a Product Researcher within the IBM Power Design team. With a background spanning over 5 years in UX design and research at IBM, she has made contributions across IBM federal consulting and IBM Infrastructure. Her primary responsibility lies in conducting research to identify user needs and preferences, leveraging this information to drive the development of innovative products and features.

In addition, Erica is co-lead of the IBM Colorado Women's Business Resource Group. She plays a vital role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for female professionals. Through giveback programs, networking events, and advocacy initiatives, Erica champions diversity and gender equality within the organization. Her dedication to promoting women's voices and perspectives contributes to a dynamic corporate culture at IBM.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Erica finds joy in exploring the mountains of Colorado, her place of residence. She is an enthusiastic trail runner and skier, a seasoned bread baker, and a loving dog-mom.


Cindy Seffair, Director of HR for Airport Operations, United Airlines

Cindy Seffair is United Airlines’ Director of HR for Airport Operations in Denver. She began her 37-year aviation career as a customer service representative in Houston. Since that time, she’s held positions in a variety of departments throughout the company, including Sales, Corporate Communications, and Human Resources. Throughout her career she has taken on various leadership roles in Human Resources, including training, talent management, communications, change management, and as a Human Resource business partner. Cindy is passionate about DEI and is the Denver chapter director for United’s women’s Business Resource Group, uIMPACT. She also leads many of the DEI efforts for United at Denver International Airport. 

Cindy has a BA in Communications from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
