About this Event
Free Virtual Tech Event: Earn a Google Cloud Skill Badge in Cloud Architecture. Join a community of like-minded developers during a Cloud Study Jam. This is an instructor-led "study session" where attendees work through practice labs to master key principles and tools within Google Cloud.
This Cloud Study Jam is broken up into two days to give learners enough time to earn a Cloud Architecture Skill Badge. Skill badges were introduced in 2020 and serve as a new way to demonstrate your Google Cloud-recognized skillset to employers and your professional network. The digital badges are earned through completing labs and a rigorous hands-on skill test on Qwiklabs.
During each session, attendees will receive free Qwiklabs access to practice their skills in a Google Cloud sandbox environment. Sessions are live and instructor-led, so you always have an expert to turn to if you get stuck. In this series, we'll walk through the Cloud Architecture: Design, Implement, and Manage Quest on Qwiklabs.

- Configure Secure RDP using a Windows Bastion
- Host Build and Deploy a Docker Image to a Kubernetes Cluster
- Scale Out and Update a Containerized Application on a Kubernetes Cluster
- Migrate a MySQL Database to Google Cloud SQL
- Session Wrap Up
A friendly reminder, all labs have activity tracking, and in order to earn this badge you must score 100% in each lab. While Cloud Study Jam provides a unique hands-on approach, this quest is not easy and will put your Google Cloud technology skills to the test! Be aware that while practice with these labs will increase your knowledge and abilities, additional study, experience, and background in cloud architecture is recommended to prepare for this certification.
